Use cryptographic tools for two purposes: 1) Guarantee that your messages for me can only be read by myself. 2) Make sure that messages from me are original and unmodified.

SSH

If you want me to connect to your server, don't send me your login informations for Telnet, FTP, or some other dinosaur protocol. Use SSH instead and add my public key to your ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file.

I use SSL for encrypting my mails. Use the public key to send me encrypted mails.
